2. General information on data processing

(1) We generally process personal data of our users and customers only where this is necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services, or where there is a legal basis for doing so.

(2) Legal bases are in particular Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent), (b) (performance of a contract and pre-contractual measures), (c) (legal obligation) and (f) (legitimate interest).

3. Hosting and provision of the website

Our website is hosted by a service provider. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider. (to follow)

4. Server log files

(1) When the website is accessed, information transmitted by your browser is automatically collected (so-called server log files): browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address.

(2) The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technical provision, stability and security of the website. The data is generally deleted after seven days, unless it is needed longer to investigate security incidents.

5. Contact and booking form, email contact

(1) If you contact us via the contact/booking form, by email or by telephone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, desired service, date, further information) in order to handle your enquiry and prepare a quote.

(2) The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry is aimed at concluding or performing a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (efficient handling of enquiries).

(3) The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose and no statutory retention obligations prevent this.

6. Handling of transport and service contracts

(1) To carry out the booked services we process the data required for this (e.g. name, pick-up and destination, time, contact and billing data).

(2) Where subcontractors or partner companies are used to provide the services, we pass on the data required for this to them. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

(3) Invoice- and tax-relevant data is stored in accordance with the retention periods under commercial and tax law (generally 6 or 10 years).

7. Cookies

(1) Our website uses technically necessary cookies to enable the operation of the website. The legal basis is § 25 (2) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

(2) Where non-essential cookies or analytics/marketing services are used beyond this, this only takes place on the basis of your consent (§ 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you can revoke at any time with effect for the future.

8. Recipients and disclosure of data

Your data is only passed on to subcontractors/partners used to provide the services, to processors (e.g. hosting, IT) on the basis of agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, and where required by law (e.g. to tax authorities). A transfer to third countries only takes place if the requirements of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR are met.

9. Your rights as a data subject

You have the right to:

  • access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)

  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)

  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

  • objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)

  • withdrawal of consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)

10. Right to object

Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

11. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is: The Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Ludwig-Erhard-Straße 22, 20459 Hamburg.

12. Data security and updates

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. This privacy policy is updated as necessary to reflect changes in the legal situation or in our processing activities. The current version published on the website applies.
